Come and see the town of Cobh and hear about life in the 19th century. This leisurely walking tour will feature architectural heritage and recount the sights and sounds of the busy harbour town.

Situated at the mouth of Cork Harbour, Cobh came to prominence during Britain’s colonial wars in the 1700s. In the nineteenth century, its popularity as a fashionable sea-bathing resort and as a departure point for emigrants, saw businesses in the town prosper. It is from this period that Cobh’s seafront and Neoclassical buildings date, giving the town its distinctive Victorian vibe. Come and see it for yourself!
