Kerry’s built heritage and the county’s architectural landscape will be celebrated during the nineth annual Architecture Kerry Festival with events from Friday 18th September to Friday 9th October 2026. Architecture Kerry also presents a range of free guided tours of renovated buildings, lighthouses, castles, country houses, walking tours, low carbon homes, exhibitions, street art, sculpture, and much, much more!

The festival will officially open on Wednesday 23rd September at 11.30am with the launch of a major exhibition celebrating Villa Tugendhat, one of the world’s most important examples of modern architecture (UNESCO site), hosted by Kerry County Council and MTU in collaboration with the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

The festival will conclude on Friday 9th October with a one-day seminar hosted by Kerry County Council and the Irish Georgian Society at Kerry Writers’ Museum, Listowel, entitled North Kerry’s 18th-Century Historic Houses: Architectural and Landscape Treasures
