What are the next steps for sustainable housing? At this conference, we look at how we can square the circle of reducing carbon emissions by 51% by 2030 whilst greatly increasing our housing output. Are we ready for this transition?

We will hear from David Mikhail of Mikhail Riches Architects on building low carbon typologies specifically an innovative approach to the missing middle between high density and low density. We will have panel discussions on innovative approaches to low carbon compact growth with Ivan Gaine Sherry Fitzgerald, Sarah Rock TU Dublin and Ali Harvey Heritage Council. How EU Taxonomy will affect the construction of Irish homes will be discussed on our finance panel, with Laura Heuston Sustainability Works, Dan Murphy Activate Capital, Lorraine Fizgerald Glenveagh and Brian Crowley IGBC. Also, our innovation panel explores what the home building industry is doing to increase innovation in low carbon construction with Jamie Goggins University of Galway, Robbie McGrath, DRES and Stephen O’Shea, Cairn Homes.

Join us on 25 November in the Gibson Hotel Dublin 1 and network with industry leaders and policymakers to design pathways for a low-carbon future
