Coolock Library will host Dr Ruth McManus for a fascinating talk on the development of Coolock and Artane. From the 1950s onwards, the fields and rural hinterland of Coolock, Artane and surrounding areas, were transformed into large housing developments.

Dr Ruth McManus is Associate Professor in Geography and Associate Dean for Teaching & Learning at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dublin City University. As a geographer, much of her work focuses on the physical and social development of everyday spaces.

She is a resident of Artane.

No booking required.
