Meet Our Expert Speakers
Dr David Caron
One of the original compilers of the Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass (1988) and its revised edition (2021), Dr Caron is also the author of Michael Healy, 1873–1941: An Túr Gloine’s Stained Glass Pioneer. He is currently working on a new publication focusing on stained glass in Ulster.
Finola Finlay
Author of the popular Roaringwater Journal, Finola’s research interests include the work of George Stephen Walsh and his son, George W. Walsh. She has written and published extensively on Ireland’s rich artistic and architectural heritage and was a contributimg author to the Gazetteer of Irish Stained Glass.
Dr Joseph McBrinn
Dr McBrinn serves on the editorial boards of The Journal of Modern Craft and The Irish Arts Review. He is currently researching for his forthcoming publication, Evie Hone and the International Avant-Garde, exploring the life and work of one of Ireland’s most important modernist stained glass artists.
