An illustrated talk by architects David Jameson and Evelyn D'Arcy

On Friday 20th February, Architects David Jameson and Evelyn D’Arcy from 12th Field (https://www.12thfield.ie/about-us/) will give an illustrated talk titled Coill Dubh, Frank Gibney and the Bord Na Mona Workers Villages.

The talk will begin at 8.00pm upstairs in the boardroom of Coill Dubh Community Centre. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to upstairs.

Location: Coill Dubh Community Centre, Blackwood, Kildare

Please book your place as there is a limit to the capacity of the venue. If the event is booked out you can join a waiting list by emailing: tochdig@gmail.com

If you have booked and cannot make the talk please let us know so we can allocate your place to someone on the waiting list.

The talk will be preceded by the opening of an Art Exhibition by local artists at 7pm in the main hall. The work will respond to the bog and Coill Dubh Village.

Tea/Coffee will be served.

This event forms part of a series of events closing out Phase 2 of Tóch | Dig Intergenerational Community Engagement Project (see https://www.tochdig.com for further information).
