The Office of Public Works (OPW), in partnership with the National Library of Ireland (NLI), presents Conversation Club
This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Lecture Series brings together leading architectural practices from Ireland and abroad for an engaging programme of public conversations.
Across the series, speakers will explore contemporary architectural practice, design thinking, and the ideas behind award-winning projects, offering insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the built environment today.
Donaghy + Dimond Architects is a practice founded in the Liberties by Will Dimond and Marcus Donaghy.
The practice is dedicated to exploring sustainable dwelling in diverse projects: seeking synergies between conservation and new work; embracing urban and rural contexts and ecologies at various scales. Donaghy and Dimond have won and been premiated in competitions for public cultural projects and sustainable housing. The built and research projects of Donaghy and Dimond have been widely published and acknowledged in national and international awards.
In 2024 the practice was awarded the RIAI Triennale Gold Medal for their work at Inchicore Model School.
Marcus and Will both lecture part-time in UCD architecture studios.
Location: Joly Theatre, National Library of Irelans, 7-8 Kildare Street, D02 P638 Dublin 2
