An exhibition at the Outhouse of club ephemera and photographs drawing from donations from those who were there along with material from the Irish Queer Archive (NLI) originally gathered and donated to the NLI by activist and DJ Tonie Walsh. You are invited to enter an intriguing scene, has something happened or is it about to? Welcome to the ambience of Flikkers and remembered and curated by Francis Fay and Tonie Walsh.

Open to the public Monday to Friday.

A Bealtaine Festival exhibition presented in partnership with Outhouse.

This event is part of Flikkers – Come As You Were, the Age & Opportunity Bealtaine Festival Commission for 2022 supported by the Arts Council and Dublin City Council. This is a series of events remembering and celebrating the Flikkers Disco era at the Hirschfeld Centre and the generation who were there. Flikkers invites older LGBTQ+ people to dance and celebrate this seminal period of social and cultural activism.
