A short talk by Philip Doran, a chartered landscape architect who leads PJLA.

Why begin a practice?
When we enjoy our current pursuit, job, career, exploring how we might do it for ourselves full-time seems a logical next step.
In this short talk, Philip will explore aspects of going solo, through the lens of his own path.
He will also give his three key suggestions to anyone considering the journey.

Biography:
Philip is a chartered landscape architect leading PJLA through a range of projects in both the public and private realm. He is also a former Adjunct Professor with UCD's Landscape Architecture undergraduate program, and currently holds a position of Teach Fellow. PJLA's ethos, a quote from Vogt, is ...
