Committed to the development of the culture of architecture, this residency is part of a forthcoming series of initiatives and supports the Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF) will offer to architects, to take risks and develop their creative practice. The residency is offered in partnership with the Centre Culturel Irlandais (CCI), based in the heart of Paris.

For this initial 1-month residency all architects and graduate architects are invited to apply. Applicants must read and comply with the standard criteria set out by the CCI. In addition the IAF notes the following will be taken into consideration in the assessment of applications:

Architects or architect graduates within 3-8 years of graduation (post Part II) will be given priority, but applications are open to all architects and architecture graduates.
The IAF will use its local, Paris-based network of architects, writers, curators and others to support the successful applicant in their residency at the CCI. Where relevant, applicants are encouraged to identify individuals or organisations that they may wish to connect with during their time in Paris.
Full details of how to make an application can be found on the CCI website.

Applicants with queries can write to the IAF at info@architecturefoundation.ie.

Irish Architecture Foundation

About Established in 2005, the Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF) is an independent organisation dedicated to the promotion of architecture as culture. We encourage people to engage with their built environment, to inspire new ways of thinking about architecture. We truly believe architecture has the power to improve the way we live and how we think about our built environment. By bringing people together from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, we can create a more inclusive conversation that will inspire a better-built environment for everyone.
