Now in its 11th season, New Now Next is a not-to-be-missed season of live, in-person talks, disseminating new ideas and thinking relevant now and for the future of architecture and society. Material, financial and human resources, public participation, the future of cities and issues of social inclusion and cultural identity are on the agenda of an unprecedented array of speakers for the 2023 season of NewNowNext.

Alexandra Hagen is an architect, partner and since 2018 CEO at White Arkitekter. White Arkitekter is an employee-owned practice of about 700 professionals with a presence in Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany, Canada, and East Africa. The practice’s vision is that all their projects will be carbon neutral from 2030.

The talk is chaired by Emma Geoghegan, TU Dublin, and Alice Casey of TAKA Architects.

Irish Architecture Foundation

About Established in 2005, the Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF) is an independent organisation dedicated to the promotion of architecture as culture. We encourage people to engage with their built environment, to inspire new ways of thinking about architecture. We truly believe architecture has the power to improve the way we live and how we think about our built environment. By bringing people together from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, we can create a more inclusive conversation that will inspire a better-built environment for everyone.
