We are delighted to announce the 2026 Peter Rice Lecture will be given by Dr Jane Hall founding member of the architecture collective, Assemble, on the evening of Tuesday the 3rd of November in Belfast
@assembleofficial is a London-based organisation who design and make buildings, artworks, gardens, playgrounds, furniture, exhibitions and events. Assemble uses design as a tool to respond to the environmental, social and economic challenges we face today, believing that built examples along with critical reflection are the most effective means to have a positive impact. Assemble won the Turner Prize in 2015 for their work in Granby, Liverpool.
Dr. Jane Hall is the inaugural recipient of the British Council Lina Bo Bardi Fellowship with a particular focus is on interdisciplinary practice between artists and architects, and the emergence of alternative methods for architectural design.
Jane has lectured internationally at The School of Arts Institute Chicago (SAIC), Princeton University and the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA), among others and is a visiting lecturer and regular critic at the Royal College of Art, Bartlett School of Architecture and University of Cambridge.
