The RIAI and the Heritage Contractors Register is delighted to present their monthly series. Colette Lagan, Nolans Group Conservation & Restoration, will give a live talk over Zoom platform on stained glass on 28 April.

In this webinar Colette Langan will guide attendees through the following issues:

• Consideration of what stained glass is and its function;
• A brief over view of the use of stained glass in Ireland and the studios that installed work here;
• The types of glass and lead used;
• Glass painting, enamels, what they do, are they in good condition? Treatments available;
• Bucking and bulging, is it serious?;
• When do windows need to come out? What can be down when they are out?;
• What work can be done in situ?
