We are delighted to welcome our first guest speaker of the year, Richard Murphy OBE to the Red Room for a two part lecture on Thursday the 16th and Friday the 17th of October, where he will speak about his own work and his research on Carlo Scarpa.

Richard founded Richard Murphy Architects in 1991 and has since gone on to win 24 RIBA awards. He designed the first Maggie’s Centre in Edinburgh in 1996 and was later awarded an Order of the British Empire in 2007 for his services to architecture. He is internationally recognised as an authority on Carlo Scarpa’s work, regularly lecturing on both Scarpa and his own architectural work.
