SPAB Ireland have teamed up with the Industrial Heritage Association of Ireland, Mills and Millers Association of Ireland and Clara Heritage Society to bring an exciting outing for this inaugural Mills Appreciation Day. We are hosting a day trip, visiting a series of mill sites in Offaly and Westmeath, with tours from the owners of the sites and industrial archaeologist Dr. Fred Hammond. The day trip will visit three mill sites around Offaly and Westmeath, and will focus on themes of sustainability, conservation and adaptive re-use.

Location: 08:45am Registration at designated pick-up point outside Heuston Station.
