Talking Towns is a new seminar series organised by the UCD Centre for Irish Towns and UCD Earth Institute. The series aims to spark conversations about the challenges facing Irish towns, the opportunities they offer, and the role of research and policy in bringing about the revitalisation of towns in Ireland. This seminar will feature two speakers talking about the life of towns through the lens of public space.

Eleonore Bascoulergue (current Master's student in Architecture, UCD; recent research on photography of Irish Towns)

Valerie Mulvin (architect, author of 'Approximate Formality, Morphology of Irish Towns', member of Aosdána, and founder of McCullough Mulvin Architects; the design of Irish Towns and her research journey through mapping and photographs)

Dr Miriam Fitzpatrick (Assistant Professor at UCD; Chair)
