Talking Towns is a new seminar series organised by the UCD Centre for Irish Towns and UCD Earth Institute. The series aims to spark conversations about the challenges facing Irish towns, the opportunities they offer, and the role of research and policy in bringing about the revitalisation of towns in Ireland.

This seminar will feature speakers talking about vacancy and Irish towns.

Dr Cian O’Callaghan (Assistant Professor in Urban Geography with the School of Natural Sciences, Trinity College Dublin), 'Rethinking Urban Vacancy'

Ali Harvey (Founding Co-ordinator of the Collaborative Town Centre Health Check Programme’): ‘Towns in Ireland and the Urgent Need for the Democratisation of Data’.
