Wexford-born architect, Brendan Millar, rediscovered painting after retiring from Arthur Gibney and Partners Architects in 2008. His paintings tend to be abstract compositions and landscapes in acrylic, oils, conte and pastels. Also included in the exhibition is a small selection of work which dates back to his student days. Key influences include Robin Walker, the Bauhaus, the New York School of Art, Mies Van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, and Munch.
