From the purchase of the ground in 1721 to the setting out of the street and the construction of the houses, this talk will focus on the initial phase of building at Henrietta Street in the late 1720s. It will examine the range of architectural and development models employed and will focus on all involved in the development of Dublin's premier Georgian street in its early years.
