Ger Staunton is an engineer with South Dublin County Council, working in their new ‘Natural Water’ section, this sections deals with Water Quality and Water Pollution, as well as surface water drainage issues and rivers and flooding issues.
He has worked on the Dublin Urban Rivers LIFE Project, which set out to improve water quality in local rivers through two different approaches, Door to Door Misconnection Assessments and Integrated Constructed Wetlands. Ger delivered the Integrated Constructed Wetland side of the project.
