An exhibition that concentrates on aspects of the in-between in the work of O’Donnell + Tuomey. Five new and distinctive architectural designs, public projects for landmark sites at home and abroad, share a common thread, the importance of making connections between inside and outside, between old and new, between structure and space. The installation includes drawings, models and photographs. The exhibition focuses on interstitial moments of social invitation, the feeling of crossing the threshold between different spatial conditions.
Sheila O'Donnell and John Tuomey will present an architecture talk on Friday 18th September at 11am in The Station House Theatre. After the talk, all are welcome to join us for a reception to officially open the exhibition at the Station House Museum.
