Understanding the built environment in towns through data

This session will focus on the importance of having accurate and up-to-date data on towns to inform policy and regeneration efforts. Dr Anna Skoura and Dr Madeleine Lyes from UCD will curate the session.

Joined by Mairead Hunt from the Town Centre Regeneration Office, Ruth Maher and Tim O’Driscoll from Tipperary County Council, they will discuss the challenges of accessing and creating accurate data on the built environment and present examples of how evidence-based initiatives can improve life in towns across Ireland.
