Wendy Dison, Land Memory, new and selected paintings, sculpture, etchings
Wendy Dison's work is informed by an engagement with nature and landscape in the very broadest sense; the tales we tell about it and the traces we leave on it. Humankind's interactions with the earth, our relationship with home, with exile and with belonging; all these have surfaced in, and been the background to her long-standing creative practice. Wendy was born in Liverpool in 1948 and studied at Liverpool School of Art and Bristol Polytechnic between 1969–74. After travelling extensively, and living in Spain and Mexico, she settled in West Cork, Ireland in 1999.
